Command and conquer red alert 2 mods7/21/2023 ![]() I could release a separate graphics modpack too for those not interested in the scenario. I can't be stuffed making a whole scenario so I'm thinking I might do a C&C graphics update for his instead heh. He converted in a number of units and buildings but didn't really do much with the terrain. The only Civ2 C&C scenario I can find is this one by : ![]() But there's no point in me wasting my time if someone else has done it haha. If anyone has any further questions, feel free to ask.Does anyone know of Command & Conquer or Red Alert scenarios/graphics pack for Civ2 MGE or ToT?īeen thinking about making a dark and moody one heavily based on C&C2 Tiberian Sun just for fun. Remember, Origin players, your game's position is "C: (or whatever drive you're using/Origin Games/Command and Conquer Red Alert II". Apply any graphics and imaging solutions if needed. You're done! You should now be able to play your desired mod without any issues. I suggest making a shortcut of the mod's executable to put on your desktop to easily access the mod. If they are not, you will have to find them and place the files into the place where the mod is. Install the mod into a copy and verify that all of the mod's necessary files are present. This will also eliminate the need to find and download or copy essential files the mod might need to run, like the game's executable. Use the copies of the game for mods and leave the normal game alone. Simply download the standalone to the place you want, install it, and play!Ī lot of mods "take over" the original game that is what the copies of the game folder are for. NOTE: For client-based standalone mods (Mental Omega, Red Resurrection) creating a copy of the game is not necessary. If you copy the game folder into the same place as the original game folder, the copy will most likely have the name "Command and Conquer Red Alert II - Copy" I suggest doing this in case you ever want to play the vanilla version of the game. ![]() Read how to install the mod and follow the instructions as closely as possible.īefore actually installing the mod, make a copy of your Yuri's Revenge game folder (for Origin players, that will be in Origin Games/Command and Conquer Red Alert II). Now, with the simple task of telling you to read out of the way, let's explain how to install most Yuri's Revenge mods.įind the mod you want to play online (either on Moddb or some other website) and download it. ONLY if you truly can't figure out downloading or installing should you ask these questions. If you're asking these questions, either you haven't downloaded or played a mod before, or you're not reading. Far too many people don't read the instructions on how to install and play a mod and instead ask questions like "How do I download this?" or "How do I install/play this?". Either on the mod's page or in a README in a mod's download, READ. First and foremost: READ THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS IF THEY ARE GIVEN.
